Blanche Darby Florist

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Blanche Darby Florist buying flowers for a birthday. I called ahead asking if the store had any Tulips and if they could make an arrangement including the Tulips to which they agreed and I would pick up later in the day. They asked for my price range to which I responded $80-$100 but that I was flexible if it went slightly over. When I showed up there was 5 Tulips laying on the work bench and the lady working the front desk didn’t ask if I needed anything else just tried to check out for $60. I asked her if I could make an arrangement (that I thought was being made) to which she responded “Well you can’t add much more in your price range.” I joked back and just asked again to see what we could make up for an arrangement and asked if there were other flowers we could add and maybe some filler such as Baby's-breath and that I was okay if we went slightly over. I again got a snarky remark; “We don’t use Baby's-breath because it’s tacky. We also don’t have much for flowers because it’s prom season”. I took a deep breath and ended up leaving with a very small, but pretty arrangement. $150 got me the arrangement below. All of the flowers died a

In 2016 my son and his wife moved to Mount Pleasant. My wife and I live in Kansas City. It wasn’t long afterwards when we had our first occasion to send flowers to our kids. I did my on line research and took a chance with Blanche Darby. That was probably seven years ago. Since then we have had multiple birthdays, anniversaries, and the births of two grandchildren. These are always celebrated with flowers from Blanche Darby. Our daughter-in-law sends us pictures of the arrangements, always beautiful and always unique. I couldn’t give a stronger or more positive review for the wonderful people who bring such beauty into our lives for our special moments.

I placed a same day online order for a birthday arrangement with a balloon on a Saturday morning. Right after I placed the order, they called and explained a couple of flowers would be substituted for a similar flower which was no problem. Once the arrangement was made, I was text two photos and given a 1.5 hour delivery window. I am extremely pleased with the great communication and quality of their product! I would use again and again!
